Apple Music, the NBA and UnitedMasters, a label and music distribution platform for independent artists founded by music executive Steve Stoute, have joined forces to create a playlist called BASE:LINE. Curated by Ebro Darden, HOT 97 radio host and Global Head of Hip-Hop and R&B for Apple Music, as well as members of his team, the playlist will focus on showcasing the best new talent in hip-hop and integrating this music with NBA content, such as highlight clips.
Baby Keem, Princess Nokia and Portland Trailblazers star Damian Lillard (DAME D.O.L.L.A.) are some of the early entrants in the playlist.
