Drizzy and Future don’t only bring the best out of each other as rappers, but as garbage men, Apple store employees, fast food workers, IT pros, chefs and even filmmakers. You can see the duo act out these roles in the new video for “Life Is Good,” directed by Director X, the mastermind behind the extremely viral video for Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” The nearly six-minute visual also features cameos from Lil Yachty, Mike WiLL Made-It and 21 Savage.
Reigniting the spark they captured on 2015’s What A Time To Be Alive, “Life Is Good” comes after both artists teased an upcoming collaboration with snippets and other hints throughout the past month. Over spooky production from D. Hill and Oz, Drake kicks things off by boasting, “Virgil got a Patek on my wrist goin’ nuts,” in reference to a custom Patek Phillipe watch designed by Virgil Abloh, founder of luxury streetwear brand Off-White and artistic director of men’s wear at Louis Vuitton.
To further celebrate their lucrative relationship, Drake and Future Hendrix also donned matching silver and gold chains in the video. According to TMZ, the pieces are valued at over $200,000 each.
